HM King Nicholas II
Copeman Empire

COPEMAN EMPIRE
KINGDOM OF PLAYLAND
Q&A SESSION
12th March 2007

People of the
Kingdom of Playland

Playlanders:
Do you like the colour red?
HM King Nicholas II:
Oh yes. My sash is red. It’s the same colour as the sauce they put in Zinger Tower Burgers
Playlanders:
Do you like the colour blue?
HM King Nicholas II:
It’s ok I suppose. Like blue sky.
Playlanders:
Do you like the colour pink?
HM King Nicholas II:
Yes. Pink is an interesting colour. You get all sorts of different shades from
very soft to very vibrant. I don’t think any other colour has quite the same
‘range’ as pink.
Playlanders:
Do you like the colour orange?
HM King Nicholas II:
Not so much. I think it’s a bit vulgar.
Playlanders:
Do you like the colour yellow?
HM King Nicholas II:
I put yellow in the same category as orange. It’s a bit gaudy.
Playlanders:
Do you like spaghetti?
HM King Nicholas II:
Not all that much, but I do like the Bolognese it’s often served with.
Playlanders:
Do you like coke?
HM King Nicholas II:
Yes, but I prefer Pepsi or, even better, a 50/50 mix of the two. I call it Cope
Cola.
Playlanders:
Do you like cod?
HM King Nicholas II:
Only in fish fingers.
Playlanders:
Do you like chocolate?
HM King Nicholas II:
Yes. Especially Cadbury’s Dairy Milk chocolate Fredos
Playlanders:
Do you like the catch of the cod?
HM King Nicholas II:
Sorry, I’m not sure I understand. What is the catch of the cod?
Playlanders:
Have you ever eaten cod?
HM King Nicholas II:
Yes – in fishfingers!
Playlanders:
What's your favourite food?
HM King Nicholas II:
Anything from the Bigham’s Private Dining ready meal range
Playlanders:
Have you got fast food in your Empire?
HM King Nicholas II:
Plenty of KFC.
Playlanders:
Do you like turkey twizzlers?
HM King Nicholas II:
Oh yes! But only as a special treat.
Playlanders:
Do you like electric shocks?
HM King Nicholas II:
No. Does anyone?
Playlanders:
Do you like online shopping?
HM King Nicholas II:
Yes. There are certain things you can only really get online.
Playlanders:
Do you still talk to your parents?
HM King Nicholas II:
All the time. I love them very much. They have been very kind to me. If I ever
have kids I hope I do half as good a job as they have.
Playlanders:
What is the colour of your hair?
HM King Nicholas II:
Bottle blonde.
Playlanders:
How long is your hair?
HM King Nicholas II:
Quite long at the moment – I need to visit the royal barber to get it trimmed.
Playlanders:
Have you got brothers or sisters?
HM King Nicholas II:
I have a sister.
Playlanders:
Can we visit the Copeman Empire?
HM King Nicholas II:
The Copeman Empire is based in Sheringham, Norfolk, and it is a very nice place to take a holiday. I recommend it.
Playlanders:
Why did you choose Zara to be your queen?
HM King Nicholas II:
She is around my age, royal, eligible and gorgeous. Just thinking about her
makes me go weak at the knees.
Playlanders:
Do you like Portugal?
HM King Nicholas II:
I have never visited, but I do like drinking Port at Christmas, so I am sure it
must be a very nice place.
Playlanders:
Do you have relationships with other countries?
HM King Nicholas II:
Not really. Although I did once do an interview for the onboard magazine of
Iceland Air.
Playlanders:
Are you thinking of going to war with any country?
HM King Nicholas II:
No! The Copeman Empire is about peace, love, harmony and high quality
convenience food. If you have to resort to war, the battle is already lost.
Playlanders:
Do you like classes?
HM King Nicholas II:
Good classes are great, bad classes are boring. I don’t go to classes anymore.
Playlanders:
Do you like Andreas?
HM King Nicholas II:
I’ve never met him, but from our correspondence he seems pleasant, and runs a very efficient nation. Mine is rather disorganised.
Playlanders:
Do you think Andreas is sexy?
HM King Nicholas II:
Heavens! I don’t know. I’ll let you be the judge of that.
Playlanders:
What's your country's currency?
HM King Nicholas II:
The Huffa.*
Playlanders:
What's your country's area?
HM King Nicholas II:
About 9 metres squared.
Playlanders:
How many inhabitants has the Copeman Empire got?
HM King Nicholas II:
1
Playlanders:
Have you got electricity?
HM King Nicholas II:
Yes. And gas too.
Playlanders:
What's your favourite 'real' country?
HM King Nicholas II:
The Copeman Empire. Surely you’re not suggesting it isn’t real???
Playlanders:
What's your favourite surname?
HM King Nicholas II:
Copeman
Playlanders:
Have you got a horse?
HM King Nicholas II:
Not any more.
Playlanders:
Have you ever fallen in love?
HM King Nicholas II:
Yes, with Zara.
Playlanders:
Do you want to have kids? How many?
HM King Nicholas II:
Yes. I’d like to have 3. With Zara of course. One as heir to the throne and the other two as back-ups.
Playlanders:
Who is your favourite footballer?
HM King Nicholas II:
I’m not a big football fan, but I think probably Diego Marradona.
Playlanders:
Do you like wrestling?
HM King Nicholas II:
Not taking part. But I quite like watching WWF on TV.
Playlanders:
Do you want to meet me?
HM King Nicholas II:
It depends who you are!
Playlanders:
We want to chat with you!!!!!!!!!
HM King Nicholas II:
I am free this week.
Playlanders:
I refuse to take part in a offline Q & A, can you please be online?
HM King Nicholas II:
OK.
My Questions: What makes you happy? If you could only keep one possession in the world, what would it be? What's your favourite song? If you could meet any one person in the world - either present or past - who would it be?
